The ANGELS...
" Friendship is a single soul living in two bodies."
I've always thought that I would never find a true friend.
But as always, I was wrong.
When I was a freshman, I've met a wonderful friend. She was Trisha Ferolino. When I first met her, she was a bit snobbish, very quiet, shy, and she didn't seem to like me at first because I speak a different language. But now she got used to it and has even improved speaking in Tagalog. This friend of mine has all-the-positive-traits-that-a-good-friend-have. I'm sure of it. It was actually unexpected for us to be best friends. I went to eat lunch with her not because we were close but because her other friend appealed me with her stories. During dismissals, we always bumped into each other in the library and it was then that we started to become close. Almost everyday, we chatted, tell jokes and wonder why we are like this when we are in the library. So we came up with this corny theory that our school library is full of laughing gas which I consider as true.
I had an excellent time in my first year in high school because of her and all the new friends that I've met.
However, I was saddened that we are not classmates in our second year in high school for I know we will not be able to spend some quality time with each other.
But again, as always, I was wrong because whatever comes our way, we would always be the best of friends.
This year, I've also formed a bond of friendship with my classmates specifically Marja Esperancilla, Krizza Sigaya, Dannielle Tirado and Kriss Fallarco. At first, I thought that Marja was mean, Dannielle was snobbish, Kriss was not an approachable person and Krizza was too proud and arrogant. And again, my first impressions were wrong. They are the complete opposite of what I thought. Because of them, I discovered this British-Irish band, One Direction which became my obsession and because of this British-Irish band, we became intimate friends. So, I owe One Direction a very big thanks for I've made a great bond with all these wonderful people.
These angel-like people has somehow changed my life just by being part of it.
I truly cannot imagine life without them.
They are the BEST-EST FRIENDS in the whole wide world. Without them, my life would be incomplete. So I thanked God for giving me these angels who follow me through life.
"I always thought loving someone is the greatest feeling. But I realized that loving a friend is even better. We lose people we love but we never lose true friends."

Familia Lacanienta
Family is God’s greatest gift to us so for me, it is the most important thing in the world. I thank God so much for giving me a wonderful family. I am so proud to be a Lacanienta! Not because the surname is unique and rare but because my family makes me feel special. So now, I would like to introduce to you the rarest jewel that I have in my life and that is my family.
(drum rolls)
Introducing…. Ferdinand Lacanienta. This is my loving father. He has a handsome face with a very strong nose, which I really like. Most of the time, he’s away for a business but we never forget to get in touch to each other. He calls every night, he even calls in the middle of his work just to say hi, and I love you. He’s a very devoted husband to my mom and a loving father to his four daughters. Even though, he’s a busy man, he tries to the best of his ability to make time for us. He’s also supporting his parents up to present. My dad really loves dogs so we have four cute dogs at home although he got asthma from them. He plays the guitar. My dad also loves to jog and he’s kind of obsess with it. Running is just his favorite sport. Every night after his work (if my dad is in Iloilo ), he jogs at sports complex with my mom. He also likes to tell jokes which is, by the way, really funny but now I can’t seem to remember them. Oh boy, I’m so bad. Hehehe!
Introducing….Ma. Elena Lacanienta, my dearest mother. She likes to be called, “Maying” because she has a lot of cats when she was young. So her yaya nicknamed her, “Maying” because of the meow sound. My mom is very supportive. I remember dancing ballet in front of a big crowd that almost gave me a heart attack but when I saw my mom’s lovable face, I was encouraged to do my best and it was a success. That night, after the show I sent her a small letter saying, “I did the dance for you.” I remember her teary eyes. That beautiful day happened on mother’s day. I also adore my mom’s cooking so I always tell her to take a culinary course when we get back to Manila .
Introducing….Pauline Lacanienta, the eldest. She is 16 and a senior in Assumption. She’s very intelligent and very serious in her studies. I am 99.9% sure she has Einstein’s brain. Really. I tell you I have never seen her flunk her grades. EVER. I really think she'll be very successful in life. She plays the piano and attends piano lessons every Saturday. She is a bookworm, a nutella-lover and of course, a music lover. She also likes f-a-s-h-i-o-n.
Introducing…..Celine Lacanienta, the second-born daughter of my parents. She is 14 and is currently studying in Assumption. She’s sweet and very friendly. I adore her big, black eyes because mine is kind of Korean, they say and hers is classic like Audrey Hepburn's eyes. She plays violin. She’s also a bookworm. What she reads, is mostly classic. She’s a Jane Austen and Charlotte Bronte’s fan. Her favorite book is Jane Eyre, which was written by Charlotte Bronte. She is pretty good at writing stories and dreams to see her own stories published someday. One of her dreams is to be an author, of course.
Introducing…Regine Lacanienta, my youngest sister. She is 11 years old. She is good at singing. She likes to draw especially anime. She is very playful. She is mean to me sometimes. She also likes to tell jokes and plays the guitar like my father.
(drum roll ends)
I love my family. Our bond is so strong that not even one can ever break the bond that we have. We will always be together...forever. No matter what we will experince, we will always be the Familia Lacanienta and no one can ever change that. EVER.

A Fairy Song by William Shakespeare
Over hill, over dale,
Thorough bush, thorough brier,
Over park, over pale,
Thorough flood, thorough fire!
I do wander everywhere,
Swifter than the moon's sphere;
And I serve the Fairy Queen,
To dew her orbs upon the green;
The cowslips tall her pensioners be;
In their gold coats spots you see;
Those be rubies, fairy favours;
In those freckles live their savours;
I must go seek some dewdrops here,
And hang a pearl in every cowslip's ear.

Keep Moving Forward because time is ticking away.
Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors, new things and doings because we are curious...and curiousity keeps leading us down new paths.

Simple Cherished Moments.
We were so bored but my sisters found a way to kill our boredom. We took pictures and made amusing faces for fun. I was so glad that we bonded with each other even if it is only for several minutes. At least we spent some time for each other. It was really an enjoyable moment that I would like to cherish.
